The exhibition brings together a new series of paintings that begin with an ordinary encounter, light striking the facets of a crystal chandelier, and unfold into compositions that hover between representation and abstraction. In Crystal Daze, the paintings hint at moments of altered consciousness, drawing a subtle parallel between the search for transcendence in everyday life and the human desire to momentarily escape the limits of physical reality. The exhibition coincides with the release of Vanden Eynde's monograph.

Patrick Vanden Eynde (b. 1964, Belgium) has spent more than three decades developing a rigorous painting practice that quietly expands the possibilities of realism. Working with extraordinary technical precision, Vanden Eynde transforms ordinary subjects into complex meditations on perception, materiality, and the act of looking itself. His recent paintings oscillate between representation and abstraction, while early works isolate familiar objects against restrained fields.

Vanden Eynde has established a significant presence within the Belgian and European contemporary art landscape. He has exhibited his work at Xavier Hufkens in Brussels, Tim Van Laere Gallery in Antwerp, and Crown Gallery in Brussels, while more recent presentations with Keteleer Gallery have reaffirmed the continued relevance of his practice. His work has been exhibited at major museums and institutions including M HKA (Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp), S.M.A.K. (Ghent), the Museum of Ixelles, Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens, the Roger Raveel Museum, Stedelijk Museum Lier, and the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels.
