Silent Structures ontvouwt zich als een ruimtelijke installatie waarin herinnering niet als verhaal verschijnt, maar als structuur. Raven werkt met tactiele vormen en texturen die losgemaakt worden van hun oorspronkelijke context en opnieuw worden georganiseerd binnen een hedendaags ruimtelijk kader. Wat zichtbaar wordt, zijn stille configuraties die bewegen tussen nabijheid en afstand.
Keramiek functioneert als medium van fixatie en transformatie. Zachte referenties worden vastgelegd in harde oppervlakken; handmatige handelingen vertalen zich naar ritme, reliëf en herhaling. Objecten, vloerelementen en ruimtelijke ingrepen vormen samen één continu veld waarin materiaal en ruimte elkaar wederzijds definiëren.
Melktekeningen met haakwerkmotieven op de ramen verbinden de verschillende zones van de tentoonstelling. Ze functioneren als een overgangslaag die licht, zicht en beweging filtert en zo een subtiele verbinding legt tussen afzonderlijke ruimtes en posities binnen de installatie.
Binnen dit veld nodigt Raven Joeri Woudstra uit. Voor deze tentoonstelling werkt Woudstra met gevonden structuren uit zijn directe omgeving, waarmee een lokale geschiedenis de ruimte binnentreedt. Zijn videowerk rond het vreugdevuur brengt een collectief moment binnen de installatie en introduceert een gedeelde ervaring van samenkomst en traditie. In de ontmoeting tussen beide posities ontstaat een dialoog tussen materiële, ruimtelijke en sociale vormen van herinnering.

Silent Structures unfolds as a spatial installation in which memory does not appear as narrative, but as structure. Raven works with tactile forms and textures that are detached from their original context and reorganized within a contemporary spatial framework. What emerges are quiet configurations that move between proximity and distance.
Ceramics functions as a medium of fixation and transformation. Soft references are captured in hard surfaces; manual gestures translate into rhythm, relief, and repetition. Objects, floor elements, and spatial interventions together form one continuous field in which material and space mutually define one another.
Milk drawings with crochet motifs on the windows connect the different zones of the exhibition. They act as a transitional layer that filters light, visibility, and movement, creating a subtle connection between separate spaces and positions within the installation.
Within this field, Raven invites Joeri Woudstra. For this exhibition, Woudstra works with found structures from his immediate surroundings, allowing a local history to enter the space. His video work centered around the bonfire introduces a collective moment into the installation and brings in a shared experience of gathering and tradition. In the encounter between both positions, a dialogue emerges between material, spatial, and social forms of memory.
