'Unreal Estate #3' is the overall title Ksenia Galiaeva uses for series of works made in the last 20 years. The exhibition combines the Russian summerhouse saga with the more essayistic project revolving around the subject of "Autobiographical fiction": the making of self-story, the fictional elements in (national) memory and identity, the use of personal metaphors, lineair and non-linear ways of storytelling.

Ksenia Galiaeva, 1976, Pskov, Russia; lives and works in Antwerp. Represented by Ellen de Bruijne Projects. Galiaeva teaches at Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Her works has been exhibited in solo and group shows, amongst others in Schiedam Museum, Fries Museum, Stedelijk Museum 's Hertogenbosch, Moscow MOMA, Seoul MMCA Changdong.
