A farewell exhibition composed around 15 songs

Swan Songs is the final exhibition of FRED&FERRY, which will close its doors permanently on 13 December. For this occasion, each of the 14 artists currently represented by the gallery presents a work specially selected or developed for the exhibition.

The exhibition brings together two temporalities: the chronology of six years of collaboration and a companion playlist that visitors can experience on Spotify, Tidal or YouTube.

The playlist follows its own path, independent of the historical sequence in which the works and exhibitions came into being. Rather than functioning as a soundtrack, the songs create a parallel space for association, remembrance and projection. A tension emerges between what was lived, what is shown, and what continues to resonate.
