AAIMACHINE is an independent art space in Antwerp - Berchem, with a display window on a lively shopping street (Statiestraat). As a non-profit organisation led by artists Johanna Trudzinski and Lieven Segers, and journalist Frank Olbrechts, AAIMACHINE curates a programme free from commercial motives, focusing on experimentation and collaborative exchange. The tagline ‘AAIMACHINE streelt geest en gestel” captures the blend of artistic curiosity with aesthetic and intellectual pleasure. The space positions itself as the alternative to the classic “white cube”.

AAIMACHINE operates in series of VOLUMES that are launched at irregular intervals, each intended as an autonomous work of art and embracing eclectic, interdisciplinary approaches that cross generations and art scenes. It brings together established and underground artists, connects the local neighbourhood with (inter)national art professionals, and gives preference to genuine art and artists over an approach driven by market logic. As a result, AAIMACHINE has grown into a vibrant meeting place where relevant art and the community come together.
