The start of a new season
We are looking forward to the start of this new art season, where we celebrate art as a valuable and essential part of society. Together with you and all of the contemporary art galleries, artists run spaces, art spaces and museums located in Antwerp.
We are proud to introduce to you four fresh Antwerp Art members: TICK TACK realizes, presents and promotes international exhibitions and video art screenings, complemented with publications and an extensive digital archive. FRED&FERRY GALLERY is an artist-dedicated gallery that gives opportunities to national and international artists. RAAT, an initiative of AAIR, is an open city lab in the centre of Antwerp where emerging creative talent can develop and present their work. Everyday Gallery displays trans-disciplinary artists who dive deep into the radical world of fine and functional arts.
From now on, you'll be able to find a new Antwerp Art paper index and map overview at all of members' locations.
Just before the start of the new academic year, the Royal Academy of Fine Art celebrates a new generation of artists with the MASTERS EXPO 2020 : 80 master students from nine graduation disciplines will present their work and projects on the Academy Campus from 17-20 September.
In this newsletter you'll find the exhibitions and events happening in Antwerp in september.
Additionally, we are happy to announce that because of the cancellation of this Antwerp Art Weekend 2020, we'll be organizing a one-day, more locally focussed event: the Antwerp Art Nocturne. It takes place on Saturday, October 31 from 12 to 21h. Our members will be taking the necessary measures to provide you a safe and pleasant art experience. We'll share more on the Antwerp Art Nocturne in the coming weeks.
Antwerp Art Weekend 2021 will take place on May 13-16.
