It's bringing you four days of exhibitions in museums, galleries, art spaces, artist run spaces as well as many outdoor events, performances and (guided) tours. On Thursday, you can visit all participating venues until 21:00, giving you a few extra hours to enjoy your stroll through the city and get a glimpse of the extensive program provided by all venues.
Start your Antwerp Art Weekend by visiting the central exhibition Sugar for the Pill at De Studio, exclusively on view during the Antwerp Art Weekend. Stellar presents a performance between 14:00-21:00, and at Coppejans Gallery you can visit a performance by Ewerdt Hilgemann at 16:00. At 15:00, 'Public Figure #3' by Mehkitar Garabedian will be unveiled at Stadspark. Click here to discover more.
Op donderdag kun je tot 21:00 uur alle deelnemende locaties bezoeken, waardoor je een paar uur extra kunt genieten van je wandeling door de stad en een glimp opvangt van het uitgebreide programma van alle locaties.
Start je Antwerp Art Weekend met een bezoek aan de centrale tentoonstelling Sugar for the Pill in De Studio, exclusief te zien tijdens het Antwerp Art Weekend. On Friday, Kunst Aan Zet offers a wide range of tours through different neighborhoods. DE SINGEL presents 'Beeldenparcours DE SINGEL', a short tour that covers the artworks that are integrated in and around its campus, as well as an artist talk by Sammy Baloji starting at 17:00. Op vrijdag biedt Kunst Aan Zet een breed scala aan rondleidingen aan door verschillende buurten. DE SINGEL presenteert 'Beeldenparcours DE SINGEL', een korte rondleiding langs de kunstwerken die in en rond de campus zijn geïntegreerd, alsook een artist talk van Sammy Baloji om 17.00 uur. On Saturday, you can join a guided tour by ArtLand, Kunst Aan Zet and Private Art Tours. At both 14:00 and 16:00, Dunden presents a lecture on NFT's and the digital in relation to the art world. At BOOOOOKS you can attend a conversation between Peter Foolen and Sara De Bondt, starting at 15:00. And last but not least, we end the day with the Night of Visual Arts at De Studio. Zowel om 14.00 als om 16.00 uur presenteert Dunden een lezing over NFT's en het digitale in relatie tot de kunstwereld. Bij BOOOOOKS kan je om 15:00 uur een gesprek bijwonen tussen Peter Foolen en Sara De Bondt. En last but not least sluiten we de dag af met de Nacht van de Beeldende Kunst in De Studio. Start the last day of the Antwerp Art Weekend with a brunch! ArtLand welcomes you for a brunch on-the-go at Het Eilandje, and Private Art Tours invites you for a brunch at Newchild. Make an afternoon visit at FOMU Fotomuseum for two book launches by Alexey Shlyk and Ben Van den Berghe, and Bertien van Manen. At 18:00, both Duende Art Projects and Dunden open their doors for an evening reception. Breng een middagbezoek aan het FOMU Fotomuseum voor twee boekpresentaties door Alexey Shlyk en Ben Van den Berghe, en Bertien van Manen. Om 18.00 uur openen zowel Duende Art Projects als Dunden hun deuren voor een avondreceptie.
