A Gesture for Tomorrow, is the first exhibition by the paris based Belgian artist Simon Demeuter at Base-Alpha Gallery.
Demeuter is presenting new vibrantly colored paintings consisting of fragments from movie stills & photographs that shaped him during his life. Fragments depicting intimate gestures from love that once was at a moment but endures through these fragments. By re-embracing these moments it is almost like they are being rediscovered from a previous time, a forgotten world, reminiscing classic frescoes.
