A Visible Silence
Solo Exhibition by Stephan Goldrajch
We are delighted to warmly invite you and are excited to present the work of Stephan Goldrajch in his new solo exhibition at Pedrami Gallery.
A few years ago, the artist participated in a residency at The Invisible Dog Art Center in New York City — a place whose name carries an unusual and poetic history. The building was once home to a jewelry and accessories factory that became famous for an invention both absurd and brilliant: a leash and collar designed to walk… invisible dogs.
The idea captured the public imagination. People proudly walked through the streets holding a leash attached to an imaginary companion, transforming absence into play and imagination into shared reality.
Years later, the factory became an art center, while its curious name remained — a playful echo of its past.
With A Visible Silence, Stephan Goldrajch dedicates an exhibition to dogs — making them visible, granting them presence, and elevating them to the status of artworks. The exhibition explores companionship, imagination, and the subtle space between absence and presence.
