Basil Onsia, Brussels, 2004, is a master’s student In Situ at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (student of Leon Vranken). He works between Antwerp and Brussels. During his Erasmus stay in Belgrade (2024), he became engaged with the city and its recent social tensions, which influenced his perspective on collectives, image-making, and context.

For LLS Paleis, Basil Onsia realizes a window drawing (stamping in acrylic) depicting sheep, which can be read differently throughout the day. What appears fixed and unambiguous shifts with the changing light and subtly tilts in meaning. Ces gens-là carries a suggestive undertone, leaving open the question of who is formulating the commentary.
