Met “Conditions and Opportunities” trachten Kris Van Dessel (kunstenaar, Antwerpen) en Tom Van Malderen (kunstenaar / architect, Valletta, Malta) de ideale kunstruimte te definiëren.

Deze poging is een onderzoek naar voorwaarden waaraan een kunstruimte zou moeten voldoen om de beste omstandigheden te bieden voor het tonen van werk.

Het onderzoek resulteerde in een essay dat als draaiboek voor deze tentoonstelling gehanteerd wordt.

"Conditions and Opportunities" represents an attempt by Kris Van Dessel (artist, Antwerp) and Tom Van Malderen (artist/architect, Valletta, Malta) to define the ideal art space.

Their attempt research the conditions an art space should meet in order to offer the best environment for showing artworks. This research resulted in an essay that is used as a script for the present exhibition.
