Five years ago, on 4 June 2020, Coppejans Gallery officially opened its doors for the first time. During Antwerp Art Weekend 2025, this will be celebrated with an anniversary exhibition, some performances and an exhibition behind the windows of the Schipperskwartier.

Using a curated group exhibition, Coppejans Gallery will look back on the activities of the past five years in its own unique way. However, the exhibition will not be a “best of” selection, but rather a dynamic overview of some of the insights the operation has yielded over the past five years. As the gallery was founded on the basis of one hundred preparatory talks, the exhibition will also feature a discussion table at which a new series of one hundred talks will be launched.
