Photography is to freeze time for a while. But how do you do this when the whole world is standing still? What kind of images can you make at a distance of one and a half meters, between empty terraces and with our facial expressions hidden behind masks?

In their final year, the photography students of Sint Lucas Antwerp show photo stories from the already iconic time when Corona put most of the stories on hold. At other times, novice photographers experiment fully and without compromise. This year, corona put this freedom under pressure. And yet these photographers found their own voice.

The photos of this new crop of artists are very different: from fashion to still lifes, from personal stories to architecture. However, there is one big similarity: a new generation of photographers is ready to unfreeze the world with their images.
