From Here to There brings together two emerging Belgian artists whose practices trace the movement between distance and closeness, reality and reflection, presence and memory.
Seppe Vancraywinkel (°1998, Hoegaarden) captures the pulse of life on the move. Working exclusively in analogue black-and-white, he photographs his circle of friends and the fleeting moments that define them. The grain of film and the absence of color create a poetic distance — a dreamlike filter through which life becomes memory, and motion turns into emotion.
Jens Milonton (°1990, Antwerpen), educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, works with graphite and charcoal to build meditative, introspective landscapes. His drawings unfold slowly, revealing a world that hovers between observation and imagination - places where silence, texture, and light become ways of thinking.
Together, Vancraywinkel and Milonton chart a journey from here to there: from the tangible to the remembered, from the outer landscape to the inner one.
A dialogue in black, white, and gray - about movement, stillness, and everything that lingers in between.
