Resonance Room 9 will feature work by two Italian painters: 76-year-old Francesco Russo and 20-year-old Fiamma Diletta Cremonese. Francesco, who has long been exhibiting with the gallery, will be showing work from 2004-2005. Fiamma, on the other hand, who has yet to be discovered in her native Italy, is presenting her work for the first time. There is a link between the two: Fiamma is Francesco's granddaughter. But the affinity between their work runs deeper than
a mere family connection. Both can generate an energy that transcends their mutual differences; the meditative work of the one and the trance-like visions of the other are both laden with a warm, uplifting power.
