It has become a tradition at IBASHO to celebrate the Summer on the first Saturday of August, the same day as the Museumnacht Antwerpen. You are welcome at our Japan Market 2023 from 12:00 - 19:00.

This year we have invited restaurant The Finch to make some finger licking bites with a Japanese touch. Aiko, the owner and chef, will among others offer her new seaweed Taco. Also Japanese beer and tea will be available. 
Also our friends from Hopsaké will again offer surprising saké tastings and bring their newest saké finds. 
And we are happy to introduce the works created by the ceramic artist Haruka Matsuo. Matsuo grew up in Mie Ken, Japan, the place of Kigata Banko Yaki. This craft which uses a special puzzled wooden mold to make teapots is practiced only in Mie Ken and now also in Naarden, the Netherlands, where Matsuo has her atelier. Matsuo's special teapots, cups, plates and incense burners will be available.
