How can we prevent KARMAGEDDON?
Acclaimed German painter Martin Eder (Augsburg 1968, lives and works in Berlin) will explore this question in his first Belgian solo exhibition. Eder, the master of surreal kitsch, will take over the entire TICK TACK space, challenging our viewing habits and questioning what we hold dear.
With works featured in prestigious collections including MoMA and MOCA, his show aims to shed light on the uneasy relationship between fantasy and reality.
Enter the underworld through Karmageddon and seize a rare chance to attend the artist’s first live performance in six years.
Solo exhibitions include Newport Street Gallery, UK; Zentrum für Gegenwartskunst, Augsburg; MUDAM, Luxembourg; Hauser & Wirth, Zurich; ARKEN Museum of Modern Art; König Galerie, Tokyo; EIGEN +ART, Leipzig; Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden; Staatliche Museen Augsburg; Gemeentemuseum, The Hague, among others.
