In Pauline Hafsia M’barek’s (1979, living between Cologne and Brussels) artistic practice, the body and its systems of perception are both instruments and objects of research. By getting as close as possible to her subject, she exposes herself to precarious and unstable moments between observation and experience.

She studied fine arts at the University of Fine Arts of Hambourg, École supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Marseille and the Academy of Media Arts of Cologne.
