Alexandre Samson studied museology and fashion history at the École du Louvre (Paris). On top of being a Curator at the Paris fashion museum Palais Galliera, he is also Head of the Haute Couture and Contemporary Creation Department.

In a personal conversation with fashion editor Milou Van Rossum, Samson talks about '1997 Fashion Big Bang', the exhibition which he curated for Palais Galliera, and the influence of the Belgians on this key year in recent fashion history.
