Random Well-Organised Universe

On the water, in the air, on land: Timecircus builds always and everywhere. This Antwerp-based artists' collective is settling down in the Warande this summer, where they are not only making an exhibition, but also live and work.
‘Random Well-Organised Universe’ is not a classic expo, but a total experience in which building, travelling and creating connections are central.

The Expo Hall shows a selection from their twenty-five years of practice: installations, plans and objects that reflect their nomadic adventures and radical way of thinking. But their work does not stop at the walls of the Warande. In the patio, they are building an outdoor studio and café, a place where ideas emerge and interact with visitors. This is where art and everyday life merge, as they always do at Timecircus.

Previous iconic works are also given a new life. On the Green Zone of the Warande, parts of their legendary fairground show ‘Sensazione’ are resurrected. The imposing Ferris Wheel, powered by muscle power, and the Barbecue Machine, a social installation centred on cooking together, are being rebuilt.
