Keteleer Gallery is very pleased to present a new solo exhibition by Stephan Balkenhol (b.1957, Germany). Stephan Balkenhol's fourth solo exhibition with the gallery will consist of an entirely new series of works.

Stephan Balkenhol is a German sculptor celebrated for his distinctive style, which has secured him a prominent place in the contemporary art world. He is best known for his roughly carved sculptures of simplified, anonymous human figures and animals, often finished with a matte layer of paint that enhances their understated presence.
