AHOY! 25 YEARS MUSEUM TINGUELY
Museum Tinguely bestaat 25 jaar en viert dat met een nomadische zomer per schip doorheen Europa. Ze gooien hun anker uit op plaatsen die een belangrijke rol speelde in de artistieke carrière van Jean Tinguely: Parijs, Maastricht, Amsterdam, Düsseldorf…. en Antwerpen. Naast de Expo op de boot (Asiadok) organiseren Boslabs en Museum Tinguely een workshopprogramma, vinden er lezingen plaats in de Royal Academy of Fine Arts & een avond vol performances in Het Bos.

"Everything is in motion. Nothing ever stands still."
Thus begins Jean Tinguely’s manifesto Für Statik of 1959. As part of its festivities to mark «25 Years of Moving Art» Museum Tinguely is showing an exhibition true to the same motto - in a converted barge. The show will follow the trail left by Tinguely the artist, traveller, networker & friend. The exhibits installed inside the hull of the barge will take visitors back in time, enabling them to follow Tinguely's trajectory.
