TICK TACK partners with There Is Nothing Solid About Solidarity, a satellite programme of Kyiv Biennial 2025, to present a video program, You Dream Better in the Dark, a selection of video works by Noor Abed, Daryna Mamaisur, Beatrice Moumdjian, Tytus Szabelski-Róźniak, and Driant Zeneli that will be showcased daily from Sunset to Sunrise (CET) on CINEMA TICK TACK.
The screening aims to expand and prolong There Is Nothing Solid About Solidarity program which includes talks, performances, workshops, an exhibition in M HKA’s INBOX space, a series of commissioned texts published in MOST Magazine, and a curated video screening at De Cinema. “There Is Nothing Solid About Solidarity” programme aims to be a catalyst for lasting relationships and fresh alliances that, when woven together, reveal a rich ecosystem of resistance, care and vision, and embodies the notion of solidarity as a commitment to risk with and to stand beside.
You Dream Better in the Dark at CINEMA TICK TACK features a curated selection of video works, within the shifting geography of “Middle East Europe,” tracing the entangled legacies of socialist utopias, their collapse, and the uncertain solidarities that remain. Through echoes of past alliances and present urgencies, the programme invites a rethinking of what binds and separates us across histories, regions, and imagined futures.
There Is Nothing Solid About Solidarity is curated by MOST Magazine (Ewa Borysiewicz, Vera Zalutskaya, Katie Zazenski) and Yulia Krivich. The programme is organised by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute (Warsaw) in collaboration with M HKA, De Cinema, De Studio and TICK TACK. The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, in partnership with the Polish Institute in Brussels.
