In this exhibition « Artificial Paradise » Photographs & Artefacts, Bruno V. Roels continues his enduring search for paradise. Remaining faithful to his distinctive visual language, he pushes his exploration further, this time extending it into three dimensions through ceramic and bronze objects.
His recurring motifs reappear: the palm trees, repetition, and the patient, experimental work in the darkroom, gestures that root his practice in both time and materiality. The introduction of color, now a recurring presence, infuses his work with a new vibrancy and a quiet spiritual resonance.
Bruno V. Roels continues to cultivate the same terrain, yet each new work opens a different passage toward an elsewhere, timeless, sensuous, and charged with presence.
