Definitely Maybe - Wendy Krochmal

Certainty has always been an illusion.
But for the past couple of years, more than it has been for a long time, certainty has become highly improbable. The impossible might happen at any moment and making plans has become a thing of the past. The very personal need of the artist, as a means to cope with the current situation and times, was to playfully turn to the exploration of colour combinations, textures, shapes and techniques.
These experiments with the often unpredictable results has led to the work for the exhibition 'Definitely Maybe'.
