Dóra Benyó (b.1989, Hungary) lives and works between Brussels and The Hague. Her body of work, spanning painting, video, and performance, is deeply rooted in both personal and political narratives, exploring her connection to her motherland Hungary and its dictatorial past. Benyó previously exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions at, amongst others, The Platform Antwerp, Art Au Centre #14 Liège, uqbar projectspace Berlin, AQB institute Budapest, Z33 Hasselt and Art Rotterdam. She completed multiple residencies, including at AIR Berlin Alexanderplatz (Berlin) and AQB (Budapest), and has previously been supported by Mondriaan Fund.
