plush baby is the musical and theatrical collaboration between Caitlin Talbut and Nicolas Anné. In 2023, they made it to the finals of the music competition Sound Track as a colorful indie-pop duo. In the meantime, plush baby worked with producers Youniss Ahamad and Aram Santy for their debut album 'The Heart Department'. With them, they searched for a more experimental and mature sound that pushes the boundaries of the genre and gives shape to the themes of alienation and loneliness in the lyrics of the album. The two seem to be slowly developing their own recipe: obscure, dark lyrics sugarcoated with the lightness of their music. Add to that a healthy dose of self-mockery, bright colors and a green screen - et voilà - and you get the freaky duo that calls itself plush baby.
