Your Storm Our Dew

Cleo Fariselli presents a new video installation inspired by the imaginative power of states of emergency. Your Storm Our Dew brings to life a world of its own, a disquieting environment where mysterious creatures seem to float on a dark background. Survival mechanisms become bodies, representing our collective unconscious and fears. The camera’s eye observes these mysterious life forms as if it were the first documentary record of an alien ecosystem.

Cleo Fariselli (1982, Italy) lives and works in Turin. Born in a family of musicians, she has a background in theatre studies. She is an artist-in-residence at MORPHO in May-June 2023.

Your Storm Our Dew is supported by the Italian Council (10th edition, 2021), a programme to promote Italian contemporary art worldwide by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture. The project is realised in partnership between Almanac Inn, Almanac Projects, MORPHO, Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Museo del Novecento, Stockholm University and MAMbo – Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna.
