Eva Steynen Gallery opens 2026 with 'Still Here', a winter group exhibition bringing together works by the eleven gallery artists.
The exhibition presents recent and ongoing works across diverse media and artistic generations. Some works were produced specifically for Still Here, while others were developed recently or previously shown in different contexts, including international art fairs, and are here reintroduced within the focused and attentive setting of the gallery.
Rather than centering on a single theme or medium, Still Here offers a moment of alignment within the gallery’s program. Installed without hierarchy or thematic grouping, the works coexist in dialogue, allowing differences in scale, material, and tone to unfold organically and reveal unexpected connections.
Still Here understands the gallery as a space of continuity: a place where artistic practices are sustained over time and where relationships between artists, works, and audiences can develop and deepen. Opening the year at Eva Steynen Gallery, the exhibition embraces restraint, presence, and attentiveness — acknowledging what is already in place while remaining open to what is still unfolding.
