Contemporary art reflects the mood of our times, and therefore also our seasons. In Spring, when life starts to move outdoors again, we celebrate the Arts with the Antwerp Art Weekend. During those four days in May, the streets of Antwerp crowd with art-hopping art-lovers looking to engage with art. When Fall comes around and the days become shorter, our experiences with art move towards warmer quarters. Join us on the eve of December 3rd, when Antwerp Art organizes the second Antwerp Art Nocturne and all our members will be open until 21:00. Bundle up to move between venues, and enjoy the warmth and comfort we derive from art in these darker times. End your late night art hopping tour at MoMu Fashion Museum Antwerp for the Antwerp Art Nocturne Party with Bayny, our DJ for the night. Doors open at 21:00 until midnight and entry is free. Benny Van den Meulengracht-Vrancx is visual artist by day and deejay by night, under the pseudonym Bayny. In recent years he developed a name for himself in both the arts and electronic music scene of Antwerp. Benny is a draughtsman, ceramist and painter, is represented by gallery Otty Park and ran an independent exhibition space, named Hole Of The Fox, from 2011-2018.

As Bayny, he delves into 90's and early 2000's House, Tech House, Trance and Techno while putting an emphasis on build up and connections between individual tracks, as he constructs thematic sets, often specifically curated for an occasion. In each one, he clearly defines a beginning, middle and finale, taking you on an uplifting journey, delivered with an outburst of contagious playful energy.

Bayny is co-organiser and resident for The Shade, as well as co-founder and artistic director of Doel Festival, a festival located in the mythical village of the same name. Furthermore, he is ex-resident for STULP and has played at J'ardin Festival 2021 & 2022, Club Capital, Club Vaag, SCANDALS, Geisha's Little Secret, Het Bos, Bar Rodin, Pekfabrik, De Studio and many more.
