Every year, the Antwerp Art Weekend sheds a bright light on the city’s thriving art scene, underlining contemporary art’s continual essentiality to society.

Following the success of last year, we are continuing this high note with the same vibrant energy for this year’s edition! With over 70 venues all over the city and beyond, our participants are readying themselves to welcome you for a covid-proof, art-hopping experience.

Elk jaar werpt het Antwerp Art Weekend een helder licht op de bloeiende kunstscène van de stad en onderstreept het de essentie van hedendaagse kunst voor de samenleving.

Na het succes van vorig jaar trekken we dezelfde levendige energie door voor de editie van dit jaar! Met meer dan 70 locaties verspreid over de stad en daarbuiten, bereiden onze deelnemers zich voor om je te verwelkomen voor een covid-proof, kunst-hoppende ervaring.

Every year, the Antwerp Art Weekend welcomes external venues to its program, in addition to its regular members. This year, we have the pleasure to announce that the following external spaces will participate in the 8th edition of the Antwerp Art Weekend:

The Frans Masereel Centrum is welcoming applications for its international Artist Residency Program in 2023.

The Artist Residency Program offers five-week residencies to selected applicants. Residencies will be held between January and September of 2023 in the specialized printmaking studios of the art centre. The call is open to all visual artists, from any geographic context, working with any media.

Het Frans Masereel Centrum verwelkomt aanvragen voor zijn internationale Artist Residency Program in 2023.

Het Artist Residency Program biedt vijf weken durende residenties aan geselecteerde aanvragers. Residenties vinden plaats tussen januari en september 2023 in de gespecialiseerde grafische studio's van het kunstcentrum. De oproep staat open voor alle beeldend kunstenaars, uit elke geografische context, die met alle media werken.
